Features
TurboCell Salt Cells are the heart of Hayward’s salt chlorine generating systems. Give any pool the best in natural water quality and softness. Naturally converts dissolved salt into a virtually endless supply of chlorine that won’t irritate eyes, dry out skin or cause fabrics to fade.
Features and Benefits
- Available in three sizes – 40,000, 25,000 and 15,000 gallons
- Automatically generates a self-renewing supply of chlorine to save over conventional chlorine
- NSF certified for chlorine output
- With other replacement cells, you get what you pay for: Lower quality, shorter life, non-certification. Generic cells are not safety certified for use with Hayward salt chlorinators
- Live in an arid or tropical climate? You may need a larger cell. Consider using the next size up or multiple cells for challenging climates
- For use with AquaRite, AquaTrol, ProLogic, or Omni Systems
NOTE: Before using any Hayward chlorinator for commercial applications, check local and state codes for requirements. Combining multiple units is possible to achieve the requisite chlorine delivery rate

Q: I have a T-940 TurboCell (Cell Type TCell-15). Can you provide me information on how to calculate how much chlorine (assume 100%) is being produce over some period of time. When the salt cell is "on" it typically produces around 4000 ppm. It seams like I need to know the chlorine ppm vs water and the time period. Thanks, Al

Q: Hello, I am having a pool installed at my house and the 25' cable provided with the tcell940 barely reaches to the Hayward panel. Is it possible to get an extension of that cable or purchase a longer cable and then rewire that to the device? Perhaps ordering another device that is assembled with a longer cable would be possible.
