Q: Good evening, I returned from a week away to notice DE product in my pool (I have a Hayward EC50 Series system). After a week of vacuuming the bottom of pool, I took the top of filter off to clean the remaining DE filter from system in hopes of returning to normal. After cleaning, I am unable to seal the lid, water is leaking excessively from the crevice between the assemblies. I changed the gasket and noticed a bolt was missing from the top. In looking up the part, I am unable to purchase here. First, do you think a missing bolt would lead to DE back in pool and the excessive leaking? I am at a loss what else could be causing the leak or caused the DE to return to pool?
