Hi, at minimum speed it could be as little as 20 or so gpm and at max speed it could be as much as 200 gpm. It depends on the resistance to flow of the plumbing and other components of the pool system. Filters, heaters, etc.

Q: hello Hayward, i had my pool built in 2006 with a Hayward Auquaplus PS-4 controller and a 2.0 hp Hayward Northstar pump and motor. Everything is still working except i need a new motor and was wondering if i can put the 2.7 Tristar variable speed assembly in place and still use all the same old features of the PS-4 controller. the plumbing looks to be a simple remove and replace, or is it? and how about the wiring hookup, is it simple with just programing done on the new tristar controller then?
