Q: I am a victim of Hurricane Helene. Salt water and Gulf water got into my pool. Before the pool was drained and refilled, a new Tri-Star Total Hp Pool pump was installed and the dirty water circulated through the new pool pump. How can this effect the pool pump in 12 hour?

Hi, we're sorry to hear of your hurricane issues. Just running the water through the pump should not affect it as long as it didn't impede flow due to debris. The pump is not designed to operate with no water flow, and if that occurred there...
