Q: Hello, we purchased the Super Pump:registered: XE, Ultra-High Efficiency Pump, 1.65HP, and I am wanting to see if there is a way to bypass the settings button and just use our on and off switch to the pump. We would like it to run all the time at 100% and not have to reset it every time we backwash the pool or add chlorine tabs. Thank you.

Hi, the Northstar pumps were high head, and the SuperPumps are medium head. A better replacement would be one of our TriStar pumps. There will still be some plumbing differences from the old Northstar, but the output of the pump will be closer.
