Q: I have 2 inch plumbing lines on my inground pool. What fittings do I need to connect to the 1hp superpump. It has 2 inch suction and output line openings but I need different type of fittings than my old pump that I am replacing.

Hi, the ports on the pump are 2" NPT female threads. You would need fittings that are 2" male NPT to whatever size your plumbing is.

Q: I am trying to decide between this 1 hp pump or the 3/4 Hp one. I have a 18x36 pool with the farthest return line being approx. 130 feet away(not sure that matters ) the skimmer is approx75 feet away. My current Pump is a 1Hp jacuzzi which once finally catches a prime seems very powerful . Will the 1 HP Superpump be too much power for my application ? Thank you
