Hi, it is not unusual to see some air in the basket on variable speed pumps.They typically do not run at a high enough rpm to clear all the air out. That being said, if the air volume seems to increase as the pump runs you may have a leak on the suction...
Hi, it is not unusual to see some air in the basket on variable speed pumps.They typically do not run at a high enough rpm to clear all the air out. That being said, if the air volume seems to increase as the pump runs you may have a leak on the suction side of the pump. The gasket on the lid of each pump is unique. You will have to get the one designed for the pump you have. For help with this contact a local Hayward Authorized Service Center.
