Q: Is part SMX24024864 in stock and available to order from a Hayward Dealer to be drop shipped to them and if not when do you think it might be available? (no local dealers stock it and I can't get any information from them if I can even order it to be sent to them or drop shipped to me if I go ahead and pay them for it, The Hayward dealers in the Atlanta Ga are horrible!) I assume from the pictures I've found online for this part that the male unions that glue into the water supply inlet and outlet of this heat exchanger are not included with this part #, what is the Hayward part # for those unions? Hi, this heat exchanger can be ordered from a local dealer, but it must be installed by a servicer certified in proper refrigerant handling techniques. The refrigerant will have to be removed from the system, the old exchanger removed and the new one installed, then the system will have to be recharged with refrigerant.
