With all the ProSeries advanced features, ProSeries Plus filters are designed to meet the needs of the most demanding applications including large residential and semi-commercial pools, in-floor cleaning systems, solar heating systems and water features.

Features

Incorporating the many advanced features of ProSeries top-mount and side mount sand filters, the ProSeries Plus satisfies the requirements of the most demanding installations, including pools installed with in-floor cleaning systems, spas, fountains or solar heating systems.

  • Flange clamp design allows 360° rotation of valve to simplify plumbing
  • Top diffuser ensures even distribution of water over the top of the sand media bed. All internal piping is 2" to give smooth, free-flowing performance
  • Large pressure sand/water drain for rapid winterizing or servicing
  • Unitized, corrosion-proof, spherical filter tank molded of rugged, colorfast polymeric material for maximum strength and longer life

Q: I purchased a w3S270T pro series 27” pool sand filter from Leslie’s. They called me today to say that I have to put zeolite in the filter and cannot use regular pool sand. Is this true?

HI, we only recommend #20 silica sand for our sand filters.

Q: My Multi port valve SP0710G11M is cracked and leaks where the pressure gauge is screwed into the valve. I would like to replace the entire valve. What would be an appropriate replacement part that is currently available? My valve screws into the top of the sand chamber. Current valves seem to be held in place with a clamp.

Q: I have a Pondless waterfall feature. There are no fish or plants. I'd like the water to be clear like a pool but it keeps getting runoff and getting muddy looking water. What filter could I use? I've read that a sand filter is the best way to clear out the muddy water quickly. It is about 50,000 gallons. I'd certainly be open to other suggestions as well.

Hi, a large sand filter would most likely be your best option but our filters are specifically designed for pool applications, so there is no guarantee of success with one.
