Q: What sand filter for 2 hp pump

Q: I have a 20 year old S210T sand filter- however, I just bought a brand new multiport valve last summer.I can't get the seal tight enough with the collar flange GM-600nm? between the collar and tank to prevent a small amount of water to leak. The 2 screws are tightened as much as possible. I fear the top of the tank has some nicks or gouges from 20 years of use.Would a coating of pure silicone help?

Q: Hi I'm trying to replace a sand filter for my 16000gallon above ground pool and trying to mate it to the pump I already have. Currently, I have an old Hayward power-flo lx pump sp1580z2 that's 1.5HP. Would the 21-in. W3S210T sand filter be appropriate for that pump? I've read the pump flow rate (gpm) should not exceed the filter's rate. The plate on the pump shows 70gpm while the design flow rate on the 21-in filter is 44gpm (an most sand filters are below that rate). Is this a compatibility issue or would the filter work fine. Thanks in advance.

Q: Just bought Pro Series W3S210T. I am interested in using Zeolite sand for filter medium. Do you have recommendation for amount of Zeolite in your filter? They recommend half as much as regular sand. Thank you

Q: We just purchased one Of these this spring. Had water leaking out the backwash line and tried to replace spider gasket. It has been hard to find the correct one to replace. seems they fit our old valve and not this one though they are both 210t. They are much too thick for The changes made to this top. What is the sku for the correct spider gasket to replace with?
