Q: What is the Flo rate (gallons per minute) of the W3sp1592 pump.? I already installed it on my pool. My heater calls for 20-70 gpm. I want to know if I need to install a bypass valve if it exceeds 70 gpm. Thanks.

Hi, the PowerFlo Matrix pump is designed for above ground pool applications. To determine the flow rate you will have to know the resistance to flow through the plumbing system which is referred to as Total Dynamic Head (TDH).
