The W3 version is available online and comes with a 1 year parts only warranty. The non W3 version can only be purchased through a Hayward Authorized Retail Store, and comes with a 3 years parts 1 year labor warranty.

Q: Can I replace my 1.5 hp with a 2 hp motor pump motor

That would not be advisable since the impeller on the pump is designed for 1.5 hp. It could lead to cavitation and that will lead to failure of the pump.
