Q: Is there any difference between the W3EC65a and the EC65a DE filters?

The W3 version is available online and comes with a 1 year parts only warranty. The non W3 version can only be purchased through a Hayward Authorized Retail Store, and comes with a 3 years parts 1 year labor warranty.

Q: I'm looking to replace my "vintage" 1993 Hayward EC-75 DE inground pool filter. The bump handle of my current unit is on the left as you face the unit. On your website it (Model #W3EC75A) shows the bump handle on the right. I'm assuming the handle is "field" reversible - installable, correct? Also is W3EC75A the correct replacement for my EC-75?

Q: First why does the specs say there is no pressure gauge? I currently have a ec75 filter and I would like to know if the current pipes will match up with the w3ec75a?
