Q: For the HeatPro 110 what is the unit set at for "heat anticipation" meaning if set at 85F what temp will it run to before it shuts the compressor off and as well, in this senerio, what temperature would the compressor turn back on at. Also, say the unit is set for 85F and brings the pool to that temp and then shuts off. Evening comes and pool shuts down for the night. The next morning, the unit comes on and runs but compressor is off since it is at 84F. Is this normal?

Hi, the differential is set at 1 degree. You may see the temperature go a degree above the set point, and you may see it a degree below, but it should not vary much beyond that. Once the pump cuts back on the heat pump should fire up if the temperature...

Q: my hayward pro heat pump will not heat - power is good to the unit and fan operates - the contact works with power to the compressor but compressor will not come on. capacitor was checked and found in limits but still replaced capacitor for troubleshooting. Still compressor will not turn on. is there a reset switch on the compressor??? or with power to compressor and not coming on is compressor bad - this unit is 140btu and only about 4 years old

Q: i am looking at your products and want a Heat Pump Heater with the highest BTU output to heat me underground Fiberglass Pool. I currently have a propane hookup and electric for my old Raypak Heater but not sure what is the best model for the efficiency?
