Q: Can you connect this along with another hayward heater to the same omni system? I have a gas heater and want to use this as a chiller. Can they both be connected and controlled from the same omni unit?

Q: Can you connect this unit to an omni system as well as a hayward gas heater that is already hooked up? Looking to use this as a chiller and already have a gas heater hooked up. Can it be used for in ground pools if only used as a chiller?

Hi, this heat pump is designed primarily for above ground pools and as such comes with an above ground warranty of 1 year parts. It can be used for inground pools as a chiller, but a better option would be the HP70HA2.

Q: My pool builder installed this heater for my pool which is 44x20 (approximately 30-35k gallons). I believe this heater is underpowered to sufficiently heat the amount of water. Can you confirm if we should use this heater or upgrade to a more powerful one (140k btu)?

Hi, this heat pump is designed for use on small above ground pools. You will need a much larger heat pump such as the HP21405T

Q: I have a white version of this from about 6 years ago or so, why is it over double the price now? Vevor sales the same thing basically with the titanium heat exchanger for $1300 which is still way too pricey in my opinion? What changed from your previous white model to this brown model other than the price?

We've had to raise prices due to inflation and rising labor costs. The heat pumps are mostly the same, but the control is different.
