No, the LO means that a limit is open. In this case it is the water pressure switch. It is open since the pump is not running.

Q: I just installed this heater. I have the heater and the pump on the same power circuit and I have a wifi controller to turn the pump on according to a schedule. Is it ok to turn the heater and pump on and off at the same time? This would be twice a day for power to be removed from the heater and pump at the same time. Do I need to leave the heater on and just turn the pump on and off?

A:
Hi, the pump and heater should both be on their own dedicated circuit. It will not hurt the heater to turn it of and on with the pump.

Q: Besides draining/winterizing my heater, do you recommend covering the heater during winter? I live in Michigan.

Hi, we generally do not recommend covering your heater in the winter. Once it is winterized you can leave it uncovered. Covering them sometimes creates a good winter home for rodents, and they can do extreme damage to the heater.
