Q: I have bought a new house and the seller is not cooperating, I have doubts about the pool service people here, so I'm trying to arm myself with some knowledge. I have three questions. I'm sure it's a Hayward filter here but most of the labels have worn off so I can't tell what model it is. It's beige in color, looks exactly like a DEP 500. Is that for sure the model it is? The clamp on it looks like a Pentair one, with the spring bolt assembly, did you guys use that at some stage, or is that a hack job? Last question, the gauge reads ~ 20psi when off, and ~ 50psi when running, the glass on the gauge is broken, so the gauge is not necessarily trustworthy, does it make sense that actually the unit is ~ 0psi when off and therefore ~30psi when running, or is it actually 50psi when running? Thanks.
