Q: I need a replacement filter head for my Star Clear C1200 .

Q: we replaced this top unit onto our existing hayward unit. It was working fine and not leaking. We attempted to get it off to clean the filter, and it won't budge. Our local pool supplier recommended that we use a screwdriver to wedge in and release the pressure. Still can't budge it. Please let us know how we can remove this top.
