Q: We have a 80000 gallon pool with 3 900s on it is this good or do we need a bigger?

A:
The AQR940 is the largest available for residential use. One unit can support up to 40k gallons. Anything larger would be part of our commercial line.

Q: I just bought a Hayward AquaRite generator with the 40K gallon Cell. When the installer wired it, the cell is on whenever the pump is on. However, since it s a Hayward variable speed pump, its on all time but only runs about 10 hours day. My question is it OK for the generator to get power when the pump is not moving water? I didnt see anything in the manual on this, and the diagram actually shows a direct (hot) wire to the pump and same for the chlorinator.

A:
Yes, it is ok for the AquaRite to be on, if the pump is not running. The AquaRite's flow switch will detect water flow and come on when the pump is running.

Q: Why would my chlorinator be reading much higher than my independent test results? Chlorinate reads 3900, local store is telling me 2665. I’ve tried recalibrating. I’ve checked the cell size matches programming.

A:
Ensure the salt level in the water is within our recommended range of 2700-3400 PPM. If the salt level is high, you will get a high salt alarm. To correct the alarm you must reduce the salt in the water.
